Carol G. Turner 1933 - 2017 Carol passed away peacefully at home, as she wished, privately with her daughter and grand dog on May 15, 2017, watching her favorite television shows. A celebration of her life will be held at Temple Emanu-EL, Stern Chapel, Dallas, Texas Wednesday, May 24 at 3:00 pm. The family requests privacy after the funeral and will briefly accept visitors in a public space at Temple Emanu-EL. Carol lived an extremely colorful and happy life, all of it in the Dallas area. She put everyone first before herself. Quick to love, slow to anger, Carol loved all people, animals, babies, the arts, football games, her garden, dancing, music, hosting parties, fashion and being a perfect housekeeper, usually vacuuming herself out of the house. She was humble, non-judgmental, had a wonderful sense of humor and never took herself or anything too seriously. The best and coolest Mom on earth, perfect Homemaker, Paralegal for her late husband's law firm—she was devoted, loyal and trustworthy. Elegant and appropriate, Adonai broke the mold with her as she was a faithful servant to all humanity and all animals. There was nothing she did not excel at nor any situation she could not manage or fix. She was the Goddess of Mediation in any situation, always going above and beyond, doing what others would not. Survived by daughter Lee, Grand Dog Nicholas, sisters Sue and Joyce and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husbands Glenny and Jack, too many friends, family members and animals to mention that she is with now. If Carol could write this, she would want to publicly thank Samuel Woolbert MD, Timothy Betz MD, Kelley Newcomer MD, Alice, Dory, Nikki, and other staff from Hospice Compassus and every person, friend or loved one that went out of their way to help and love her. Carol would have written the most perfect thank you notes if she had not run out of time on earth. Carol would want to mention how mad she is at the Dallas Cowboys for not winning the Super Bowl the final season of her life on earth. If desired, contributions may be made in Carol's name to Temple Emanu-EL, Rose & Lee Berg Building Fund, 8500 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, TX 75225 or any Pet Rescue Organization of your choice.
