Britton Clay Dossman

June 30, 2000 — November 2, 2022

Britton Clay Dossman was born June 30. 2000, in Plano, Texas to parents Carlton and Kelly (Kurka) Dossman.

A natural born competitor and amazing athlete Britton found joy on the lacrosse field, baseball field and soccer field.

Britton was a special light in so many people’s lives. He lived humbly and always put others before himself. He had a way of greeting you that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Britton was the first to lend a helping hand, no matter the task.

Britton showed such courage and bravery through the adversity of his battle with cancer and his story became an inspiration for so many people. Although his time in this world was far too brief, his impact and legacy are tremendous.

As a phenomenal student and human there was just something about his ability and tenacity to attend and then graduate from Texas A&M while going through surgery and treatment. Again, his determination and competitive nature were unsurpassed.

His light has been extinguished, so it is up to all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives to continue to spread that light and try to live like Britton did.

Britton is survived by the love of his life Graceyn Tippens; his loving family dad and mom Carlton and Kelly Dossman, siblings Briley, Caden, Asher and Kinley Dossman.

There will be a mass to celebrate Britton’s life Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas officiated by Rev. Michael Forge. The service will be held in the high school gym due to the construction at the church.
