Brian Mitchell Milner

July 13, 1993 — March 14, 2020

Brian Mitchell Milner, age 26, of Plano, Texas passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2020 in Plano, Texas.  He was born on July 13, 1993 in Plano, Texas to Melinda and Steve Milner.  He was baptized at Faith Lutheran Church and attended Faith Lutheran School in Plano, Wylie schools, and finished his senior year and graduated from Willowbend Academy in Plano.

Brian had worked in the restaurant and catering industry and more recently was working as a Heating & Air Technician.  He spent a lot of time at the gym keeping in shape and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  He will be remembered as someone who cared about people and would always lend a hand to anyone who needed the help of a friend.

We would like to share a poem written by a dear family friend, Felicia Okpagu.

Remembering Brian

We never thought in a million years

That there would come a day

When we’d say goodbye to our youngest son.

It just shouldn’t happen that way.

Still here we are, but through the tears

We can’t help but to smile,

Recalling wonderful memories

Of Brian, our youngest child.

He had a gentle spirit in him,

Always reaching to help another.

We’ll always remember special family times

With him and Stephen his older brother.

Of course, they had their arguments,

As siblings often do.

Still, there was a very special closeness

That developed between the two.

Even with Maggie, our family pet,

Brian had a special bond.

He was very caring, but he faced life’s struggles,

The same as everyone.

I have such peace in my heart now knowing

He’s at rest, and he’s been set free.

No more pain or disappoints for Brian,

And that means the world to me.

So, today let’s celebrate who he was

And loving memories that never end.

For in my heart, I know the day will come

When we’ll see our son again.

So, this family will carry on now,

Though our lives are not the same.

But “Brian’s Place” in our hearts and minds

Forever will remain.

Love Always, Mom and Dad
