Brenda White was born on October 17, 1949, in Greenwood, Louisiana and made her earthly life transition on September 09, 2025.
Brenda was raised and nurtured by the late Clarence and her loving mother, the late Ola Mae Birdsong.
Brenda received her elementary education in Greenwood, Louisiana and graduated from Walnut Hill High School in 1967. After graduation, Brenda attended Job Corps, worked in Central Oklahoma, and received a certificate of Practical Nursing Training.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Greenwood No 1 Church in Greenwood, Louisiana. She was a faithful member at Shiloh Baptist Church in Mooringsport, Louisiana. For many years, she was also a faithful member of Lake Bethlehem in Shreveport, Louisiana. Brenda served in the choir and was often asked to bake and cook for the pastor and the music ministry at Lake Bethlehem. She always served the Lord with pride, and being a very skilled orator, she was requested to provide welcome and anniversary speeches on behalf of Lake Bethlehem.
Her zeal, sassiness (in a good way), love, and passion for life and desire to be the best wife, mother, and person was unique and unparalleled.
Brenda worked as a caregiver and absolutely loved working with children. She loved to cook, nurture others and keep a very clean and open home. She was one of the most compassionate, considerate and loving people on earth. Always putting others before herself! She strived to really make this world a better place and did it daily!
Brenda married Leroy White in 1977 until his passing in 2007. During the course of her life, she cherished her immediate family of three (3) beloved Sons and one (1) Daughter in Law, Clarence, Carlos (Tiki), and Willie; four (4) Grandchildren Chasmine, Mona, Cortez, and Blake; two (2) Sister in Laws, Karen White (C.K. White), Beverly Black (Calvin Black), as well as cherished a host of other relatives and friends.
