Brenda Marie Tewksbury, age 71, passed away July 15, 2019 in Plano, Tx. She was born June 23, 1948 in Dallas, Tx. to Hazel ( Baker ) Walker and Joe Baker.
Brenda loved nothing more than time with family and friends. Brenda was a devoted wife to her husband, Dick Tewksbury for 21 years. In those 21 years of marriage, she had not one unhappy day. She also was a devoted mother to her son Jeffrey Peavy IV, and her daughter, Dawn Peavy. She was the proudest nana, and loved her two grandbabies, Hudson and Jordan Peavy. Brenda was also seen as a second mother to many.
Brenda loved with all her heart and unconditional love was all she knew. She was a loving, caring, gentle, wife, mother, nana, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She was giving and unselfish when she was helping others. Brenda also was a fighter, survivor and did not like to give up. She had strength that many do not have. Brenda touched everyone's life that she came into contact with, and not just those that were blessed to have really known her. Brenda was an angel on earth and is now one of God's angels in heaven that will be forever missed and loved.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Richard ( Dick ) Tewksbury; son, Jeffrey Peavy IV; daughter, Dawn Peavy; grandchildren, Hudson and Jordan Peavy; mother, Hazel Walker; siblings, Jerry Baker , Sheila Reams; niece, Ginger McCurey and nephew, Jerry Baker Jr. Many other loving family members and friends.
