Blake Marsh

Blake Michael Marsh is survived by parents Garrett & Brooke Marsh, sisters Ashlyn & Cassidy Marsh, Grandparents Chris Gregory and Richard & Lela Marsh and Great Grandparents Marvin & Nancy Schmidtberger. As well as many incredible Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends including his favorite person, Auntie Monica Archibald.

Blake was born in Southern California and grew up in Temecula, California near Camp Pendleton until he was 8 years old. He joined Cub Scouts in 1st grade and loved all of his camping adventures with his Pack. In June 2016, Blake and his family moved to Woodbridge Virginia. He attended 3rd-6th grade there and advanced from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts after achieving his Arrow of Light. He loved being in Boy Scouts and became the rank of 2nd Class before moving.

In June 2020, Blake and his family moved to Prosper, Texas and it was absolutely his favorite place to be. He started 7th grade at Reynolds and quickly met an incredible group of friends. He traded in scouts and jumped into football, where sports became his true passion. He loved the camaraderie that the team had and loved his coaches. In 8th grade Blake also joined wrestling. He had a great season and made it to State.

Blake was so proud to be a Prosper Eagle and was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks. Blake truly felt he had found his community of friends when he moved to Prosper and loved every minute of it. He reveled in having his friends come to his home, being goofy and making everyone laugh. Blake had a special way of brightening up anyone’s day and loved with all his heart.

Blake had a very special relationship with his two sisters Ashlyn and Cassidy. He always encouraged them and was their biggest cheerleader. He was so excited when each of them accomplished big or little things in life. They had a bond that was beyond sibling love. Blake loved family dinners, playing with his dogs Scout and Koda and after he earned his drivers permit, he loved correcting his parents on their driving skills.

Blake was loved by everyone that he met. He was a light in every room and a friend to all.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Blake's life at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, at Prestonwood North Baptist Church, 1001 W Prosper Trail, Prosper, Texas.
