Bill Griffin

William (Bill) Griffin was born June 28, 1937, in Dallas, Texas to parents Gordon Lester and Aubrey Cecile (Cole) Griffin.

He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

He married Patricia (Patti) (Pugsley) Griffin on December 31, 1960.  They celebrated their 58 years of marriage prior to her passing in January of 2019.

Bill is survived by his son Randy Griffin and his wife Barbara; brother Robert Griffin and his wife Shirley; sister-in-law Phyllis Andreoli Griffin; nephews Sean Griffin and his wife Katie and Patrick Griffin and his wife Michelle; great nephews Devon and Hayden Griffin, Daniel and Nicholas St. Amour

A funeral service to celebrate Bill's life will be held Friday, June 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Prestonwood Baptist Church, in Faith Chapel, 6801 W Park, Plano, Texas with Rev Neal Jeffrey officiating.

Bill will be laid to rest with his wife at Plano Mutual Cemetery, Plano, Texas following the service.
