Bernard (Bernie) L. Odell

Bernard (Bernie) L Odell, 77, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2018, in Plano TX. Bernie was born on October 27, 1940, in Thunder Hawk, South Dakota to William and Flossie (Summers) Odell. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Texas in 1980. Bernie was very proud that he started working at an early age to earn spending money and was always able to make a good living to support the ones he loved. He was an avid Cowboy football fan and enjoyed critiquing their games with his friends.

Bernie is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mark and Duane, sister-in-law Mary Jo Dolan and brother-in-law Richard Dolan.

Bernie is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter, Grace Greenfield (Bruce); sons William Perry Odell (Noi) and Michael Odell (Sarah); grandchildren Cassie Crow (Michael), Jessie Greenfield, Emma and Rylie Odell; great grandchildren Jacob, Nevaeh and Blaise Crow; brothers-in-law Dan Dolan (Ann), Tim Dolan (Kathy) and Jerry Dolan; sisters-in-law Margaret Dolan and Trisha Maxwell (Richard); and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of the Resurrection will be at noon on October 16, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on November 3, 2018, at Westridge Christian Church, 7903 Westridge Road, Raytown, Missouri 64138.
