李蔚（原名台修）先生1957年2月25日出生於台灣台北,父親為李慎吉、母親趙蘭芬,一個妹妹和一個弟弟,身為長男從小備受父母關愛。李蔚先生在珍愛的家人：細心照護他的妻子洪嘉珮、女兒李珊、兒子李思霆和許多其他心愛的家庭成員的陪伴下,於西元2023 年 6 月 21 日安祥地跟著菩薩走了,對所有認識他的人都留下了深遠的影響。

李蔚先生在台灣出生、長大，大學畢業後在第三核能發電廠任職,熱衷於機械工程領域,並持續精進,西元1987年,年屆30歲時開啟了人生的新章——移民美國。

李蔚先生在美國的生活從北卡羅來納州的基層作為起點,因為辛勤和能力受到肯定,一次因緣際會走入製造包裝用的氣泡部,被拔擢成為工廠經理。三年後,西元1990年與愛妻在台灣共結連理。

西元1992年,李蔚卓越的管理及專業能力受到賞識,得到機會在密西西比州的Amory一展身手,從零開始,開設及經營氣泡紙工廠,在他的工廠經理生涯裡為氣泡包裝行業做出了一定的貢獻。

李蔚先生的生活因為孩子們的到來而產生改變,西元1994年第一個孩子李珊出生,緊接著李思霆於1997年出生,他的生活更有衝勁,更圓滿。工作之餘會帶著全家旅遊,一家人在密西西比州生活和樂融融,孩子健康長大,工作穩定且與鄰里維持良好互動。

西元2010年,李蔚先生在長久的努力之下獲得了晉升的榮譽,連帶著生活領域的改變,一家人搬到了德克薩斯州的Allen。德克薩斯州成為他們的新歸屬,但是他們也不忘本,閒暇時經常回去密西西比州見見老朋友,維持著一定的聯繫。

李蔚先生有與他人建立長久友誼關係的能力,天性願意關懷他人,對於正面對著困難的朋友不吝伸出援手,支持他人、富有同情心是李蔚先生待人真誠的證明,並且在心中始終把妻子和孩子放在第一位,對家庭的愛大家有目共睹,和自身利益衝突時願意為家人作出犧牲,心胸寬大。

李蔚先生也有著言出必行的特質,勇敢承擔與盡責,保持良好職業道德,並能完成他下定決心要做的任何任務,尤其在密西西比州Amory期間,贏得了許多同事的尊重和欽佩,同時保持了和諧的家庭生活。

西元2017年,李蔚先生首次被診斷出患有扁桃腺癌,對於疾病的考驗他仍勇敢面對挑戰,在醫師的幫助及家人全力支持下病情成功獲得緩解。可惜西元2022年夏天癌症復發,同時要對抗口腔癌和肝癌並不容易,在與病魔的長期抗戰中,表現出了生命力和韌性。他用盡辦法想要戰勝病魔,為的就是能回到家人身邊。漫長的療程中,李蔚先生對妻子嘉珮的感激之情難以一語道盡,每次和醫生會面及治療後,一次一次對妻子嘉珮訴說感激之情和感謝她堅定不移的支持與愛,李蔚先生非常珍惜他們之間牢不可破的羈絆。

6月21日 清晨, 李蔚先生離開我們了。他離世時沒有太多痛苦,只是發生得太快,多希望還有些時間能和他相處,能再有機會表達更多愛。

Benny Tai Shou Lee was born on February 25, 1957, in Taipei, Taiwan, to his loving parents, Sheng-Chi Lee and Lan-Fing Lee. On June 21, 2023, surrounded by his cherished family members, Benny peacefully passed away, leaving behind a profound impact on all who knew him.

Benny is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Lee, their daughter Brianne, son Belden, and numerous other beloved family members who held him in high regard.

Raised in Taiwan, Benny pursued his passion for mechanical engineering, specializing in the manufacturing of bubble wrap. In 1987, at the age of 30, he embarked on a new chapter of his life, immigrating to the United States. Benny began working as a plant manager in North Carolina, where he showcased his exceptional skills. Three years later, in 1990, he tied the knot with his beloved wife, Betty Lee, in Taiwan. They both relocated to Amory, Mississippi, in 1992, where Benny continued his career as a plant manager, contributing to the bubble wrap industry.

In 1994, their lives changed forever with the arrival of their first child, Brianne, followed by the birth of their son, Belden, in 1997. Benny's family flourished in Mississippi, and in 2010, they relocated to Allen, Texas, after Benny received a well-deserved promotion. Texas became their new home, with occasional visits to Mississippi to reconnect with their roots.

Benny possessed an exceptional ability to connect with others and foster lasting friendships, particularly during his time in Amory, Mississippi. He forged numerous relationships, earning the respect and admiration of his coworkers while maintaining a harmonious family life. His unwavering work ethic was evident in his dedication to accomplishing any task he set his mind to. Benny was selfless, always putting his wife and children first, exemplifying his love for family. He was a constant source of support and a compassionate friend to those facing difficulties. Benny's caring nature and willingness to go above and beyond made him known for his big heart and his propensity to make sacrifices for his loved ones.

2017 was the year Benny was first diagnosed with cancer. He bravely faced the challenges that lay ahead and successfully achieved remission. Unfortunately, his cancer relapsed in the fall of 2022.  Throughout his battle with oral and liver cancer, Benny demonstrated strength and resilience. He fought with every ounce of his being, determined to overcome his illness and return home to his family. Benny's gratitude for his wife, Betty, knew no bounds, and he expressed his appreciation after each treatment and doctor's visit, recognizing her unwavering support and love. Their bond was unbreakable, and Benny cherished her with all his heart.

Benny's passing was swift, sparing him from pain, but it occurred far too soon. We are left with a profound sense of love for him and an undeniable longing for more time together.

Services to honor Benny's life will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options; as we gather to pay tribute to a remarkable man whose presence will be deeply missed.
