Beatrice (Betty) Stephanie Rivera

Beatrice Rivera or "Betty" was born on January 22, 1998 in Plano, Texas she was a daughter, a sister, a friend, and so much more. She was loved and cared for by so many. Betty passed away on Saturday may 14th 2022.

Betty was a light in so many lives and will always be remembered for her kindness and soft soul. Betty was An extremely hard worker and she dedicated her life to her interests which were art, photography, writing poetry, reading books, spending time with her beloved dog Bear, going on walks, and listening to music. Betty was quiet and reserved but once you got to know her personally she was one of the funniest and most talkative people ever. Betty loved making others laugh and was someone who would remember your name after meeting you for the first time. Betty lived a beautiful life. Betty had recently completed her associates at Collin Community College and was attending the University of North Texas in pursuit of obtaining a degree inn social work. Betty always wanted to help other people and was a strong advocate for mental health, but her passion and biggest dream was always photography. Betty always dreamed about capturing beautiful scenery and moments. Betty will always be remembered and loved by so many, and will live on in our hearts for eternity.

Betty is preceded in death by her brother Ricardo Rivera, and is survived by her parents, Raul and Angela Rivera, and her siblings Maria Rivera, Gabriella Rivera, Marina Rivera, and Alexander Rivera, as well as her nieces Evelyn and Valeria Soto.

Visitation will be held at Allen Family Funeral Options from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday May 19,2022. Mass will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church at 11:00am on May 20,2022 followed by burial at Plano Mutual Cemetery.
