Barbara Mcdaniel

It is with tremendous sadness that the family announces the passing of their precious wife and mother, Barbara McDaniel, (87) on June 16, 2024.

A resident of Allen, Texas since 1979, Barbara was born in Warsaw, Indiana. She was one of four children born to Melvin and Elma Larrew.

Barbara met the love of her life, Bill, in 1960 while working as a waitress in a local restaurant. The two were married shortly thereafter.

Barbara and Bill traveled both domestically and abroad. They also enjoyed extensive road trips in their RV, visiting nearly every one of the lower 48 States.

Barbara will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; children Beth and Blake; grandchildren Pamela, Ryan, Rachael and Audrey. She is also survived by her older brother, David (91). She was preceded in death by her daughter Deb.

The family will receive friends at an Evening of Remembrance on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options.
