Austin King

Ashley Austin King was born February 22, 1978, in Jackson, Mississippi to parents Ronald and Kathryn (Bunny) King.

He grew up in Plano, Texas and chose to go by the name of Austin.   He graduated from Plano East Senior High School where he enjoyed running track and playing tennis and soccer.

Austin later attended the University of North Texas where he held a 3.5 GPA, was an active member of the AAPL and received Dean’s List honors for 3 semesters.  While attending North Texas, Austin also worked as a General Technician for SIRIT Technologies.

Professionally, Austin worked as a Landman/Abstractor for a variety of oil and gas companies across the state of Texas.

Austin is survived by his father Ron King; brother Tyler King; aunt Toni Mc Cleave; cousins Jason and Scott Mc Cleave and niece Jamesee Eileen King Morton.  He was preceded in death by his mother Kathryn (Bunny) King and his nephew Owen Mac Millan Morton.

There will be a private inurnment service, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the columbarium at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas, officiated by Rev. Bruce Bradley.  This is where he will be laid to rest.
