Arlene Cervantes was born June 20, 1987, in Amarillo, Texas. She was the daughter of Leoncio Abelardo Cervantes and Elena Valdez Cervantes.
Arlene lived and worked in Plano, Texas. After a yearlong battle with Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer, Arlene was called home on January 16, 2025, at the age of 37.
She encountered so many people and enjoyed encouraging them. Her hobbies consisted of fitness and health, music, taking pictures and loving on her dog Seidy, who she loving referred to as her “DOG-ter”.
Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and just seeing every moment in life as an opportunity to live life to the fullest.
Arlene is survived by her loving family, mother Elena Cervantes, father Leoncio Abelardo Cervantes of Plano, Texas, sisters and nephew Vanessa Cervantes and Jason Ortiz of Plano, Ivette of Lubbock, Texas and brother Leo Abelardo Jr of Ana, Texas.
Arlene loved all her family and friends and cherished every moment she shared with them. She will be deeply missed by all. We love you so much, Arlene.
There will be a visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
An additional visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at Adam’s Funeral Home.
There will be a funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at Templo Maranatha Church.
Arlene will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Templo Maranatha Cemetery.
