Angie Goode

July 31, 1956 — March 22, 2024

Angela (Angie) Goode was born July 31, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to parents Deward and Mary (Freeman) Sharp.

Angie was an adored wife, mother, daughter, Gigi, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, and friend.  Even though cancer took her away from us much too soon, we will never let it steal the years full of memories and love we shared with her.  Years from now we will tell her grandkids stories of Gigi’s love for Ireland, her boho-chic style, and that time she made Pop jump into an alligator enclosure to reclaim a lost sippy cup.  She loved her Lord deeply, and faithfully sought Him all of her days.  While we will be missing her always, we are so thankful that she is whole and home.

We are so grateful to all of the doctors and nurses who took such loving care of Angie during her battle with cancer.  Specifically, Dr. Asha Karippot & staff at Texas Oncology Plano, Dr Jairo Olivares & staff at the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center, Dr. Naga Cheedella & staff at NEXT Oncology Dallas, and Christy & all the other nurses that cared for her from Faith Hospice.

Angie is survived by her husband Ken Goode; children Hannah Webster and her husband Dillon, Ruth Day and her husband Chris and Jordan Goode and his wife Jacoby; grandchildren Heath Webster, Levi, Sanantha and Michah Day and Harlow Goode; sister Elizabeth Vinson and her husband Scott.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a celebration of Angie’s life at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, Plano, Texas with Pastor Chris Day officiating.  If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit: https://evt.live/angie-memorial

Angie will be laid to rest at Wear Cemetery, Prosper, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, we would love donations to be made to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center at: https://marycrowley.org/
