Rick is known for how captivating he was. An extraordinary storyteller, and adventurer, a seeker of knowledge, a one-of-a-kind man, a true leader, defined by God and the Army Values. A true patriot. He paved a path of honor, unconditional love and devotion as part of the unlimited legacy that he left us.
He traveled the world with his beloved wife of 51 years, Carolyn. He loved to make steaks on Fridays and loved doing family dinners at La Hacienda. Matthew 11; 28-30 “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest. For the yoke I will give you is easy, and my burden light.”
