Amileena Agatha Prince

AMILEENA AGATHA PRINCE, 84 of Allen Texas and formerly of New Amsterdam, Berbice,
Guyana passed away on January 30,2022 on the day that her husband Thomas Prince was
buried, one year ago. She was born on September 27,1937 to the late Edward McCurdy and
Sybil Pieters. She was known to many in New Amsterdam Berbice as Sister Prince. Fondly
called by her late husband as Emily.

Dedicated her life over 50 years ago to Jesus Christ and never looked back. She lived her life
each day as if Jesus will return at any time.

Amileena left school at an early age due to an injury to her left leg. She met Thomas Prince and
got married and raised their three children for years until they separated. She did many jobs in
Guyana to support her children and did the best she could at the time with what she had. She
was always inclined to learn new things. Mom had many challenges but all the public ever saw
was her smiling face. She would always encourage everyone she met to live for Jesus, and to
love him. Those words will forever remain with her children.

She migrated to the United States as a permanent resident in 2000. She lived in Michigan,
Kansas MO, Baton Rouge LA, Edgewood Maryland and recently Allen Texas. In Kansas, she
worked in the nursery department at Glad Tidings Day Care Center.

She leaves to cherish her memories

Prince), Grand Children: Kurt Yearwood, (Aliyah Yearwood), Trumain Prince, Dasha Jordan, Jive
Prince, Onel Jordan, Solomon Ukpong, Aubrey Frankie Jr Prince, Tete Ukpong, Queenie Ukpong.
Great Grand Children: Ava Yearwood, Jive Jr Prince. Siblings: Eustace Pieters,
Godfrey Noble, Joyce Edwards, Yvonne Alexander, Joy Darrel, Orma Hawker, Vilma Liverpool,
Late Ingrid Pieters. Nieces and Nephews:
Denville Pieters, Mark Pieters, Nigel Pieters, Yule Pieters, Gary Pieters, Selwyn Pieters, Vivian
Edwards, Alex Edwards, Marc Alexander, Gavin Alexander, Sean Alexander, Andrea Alexander,
Bridgette Cain, John Thom, Pamela Thom, Yvette Thom, Bryan Mc Curdy, Polly Ann Anthon
(James Victor), Shurla Hawker Bunbury, (Melissa Stuffle), Chetwin David, Robin Bishop and
many more. Sister-in-law of Renshaw Alexander, late Peeches Pieters. Other relatives: Phalana
Emanuel and many others.

There will be a Visitation beginning at Noon on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
