Allan Moy

Allan R. Moy, loving husband and best friend of Alma, passed away in Plano, Texas at the age of 52, August 15, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 2, 1969. He graduated from Western Illinois University and was a brother of Delta Tau Delta. He lived in the Chicago area up until 2000 when he made the move to Texas. In 2003 he started working for Child Care Group where he met Alma, the love of his life. They were married in 2009.

Allan was a loyal and caring husband, stepfather, step grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who enjoyed life to the fullest. His quick wit and sense of humor made him fun to be around. Highly passionate about everything he did and everyone he loved made him someone you could always count on. Always willing to go the extra mile, he never disappointed. He had a smile and kind word for everyone. Allan loved the Chicago Cubs (his Cubbies) and was a huge fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Cowboys. He loved his oldies music, especially the 50’s era. He also loved children, especially his step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He loved entertaining and having friends over and just making everyone feel welcome. He would always put others before himself.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Alma; stepchildren and step grandchildren, Maribel (Ricky) Munguia, Victor and Marisa; Lety (Eric) Jilpas and Ramzez; Tony Ramirez (Yolanda Hernandez), Bella, Emmy, and Mia; sisters, Regina (Jerry) Migacz; nephew, Frankie and niece, Nicole; Rita (Chris) Nowak and niece, Catherine. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 20 ^th from 10am-12pm at Allen Family Funeral Options, 2112 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023 with graveside service to follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery, 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074.
