Alexandro Ruiz, Sr.

Alexandro Ruiz, Sr. was born October 6, 1975 in McKinney, Texas to parents Lupe M. Ruiz and Petra Gonzales.  He passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2019.

You had to really know Alex to be able to properly describe him. He was truly one of a kind. He was not just a light, but a beacon of light you could see from far away. His bright smile, contagious and unique laugh and off the wall comments allowed him to command any room in which he was present. Everyone enjoyed Alex and the way he could entertain all of those around him. Once he picked up on the fact that everyone was enjoying him, that’s all it took for him to be on a roll! He was a hard- working family man that would do anything for them. He was an anchor in his family and was fiercely loyal and protective of his loved ones. He had a generous heart, he loved people, making them laugh and have a great time. He was spontaneous, witty, smart and charismatic. Passionate about his business and even more passionate about his loved ones and taking care of everyone around him. He lived bold and fearless. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, mentor and friend.

Alex is survived by his wife Leslie Ruiz, children Alexandro, Jr., Alexis, and Xander Ruiz, father Guadalupe M. Ruiz, Sr., siblings Lucy Ruiz Vanstone and her husband Daniel, Elma Ruiz Garcia and her husband Frank, Guadalupe M. Ruiz, Jr. and his wife Priscella, Nora Ruiz Greenwell and her husband Kenneth, Omar Ruiz and Elizabeth Ruiz.  He was preceded in death by his mother Petra Gonzales.

The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday, September 20, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options.  A funeral service to honor and celebrate Alex’s life will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options with Pastor David Blaylock officiating.

Alex will be laid to rest following the funeral at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
