Alberto Ginard

Alberto Acosta Ginard born on May 31,1948 in Havana, Cuba, born to Aleida Ginard and Alberto Acosta. Alberto came to the US when he was 14 as an orphan child and lost all contact with family from his country.

Alberto's life truly began when he met the love of his life, Mary Lou Montez, they married Feb.14, 1982, and he became a stepfather to Jessica Gomez at age 7 and Anitra Gomez at age 5. Alberto had a lot of hobbies, he loved photography in his younger days, capturing memories was a heart desire he wanted to keep stilled. His love for building out of scraps was another thing that kept him busy and let us not forget his video games. He played for hours at a time, our big kid.

Al at the age of 43 and his beloved Mary Lou got word in 1990 that they were expecting their miracle baby girl. On May 13th, 1991, Aleida Barbara Ginard was born and made him the happiest man. His greatest gift was being a father who he was told he would never have any children of his own. His photography now took on video form so he could capture every moment of her childhood.

In 2013 after 33 years of marriage his beloved wife Mary Lou Ginard passed away unexpectedly, her passing was very hard for him but through Gods loved he pushed through. In 2017 Al moved to Anna, Texas and was living with his daughter Aleida and his son in love Oswaldo, the son he never had but adored so much.

Al took on a new hobby of riding motorcycles, he bought himself a Harley, and was living life to the fullest in that country life. In the beginning of 2022, he was diagnosed with cancer stage 4 that took him fast.

During his last days when he was able to come home which was his last dying wish he was comforted by his loving Lani, his fur-baby that never left his side along with his daughters Aleida and Jessica as they witnessed him take his last breathes on earth. We will miss him and appreciate the Joy he added to our life. Will see you in Eternity Dad!
