Zachary Todd Story

Zachary Todd Story was born November 19, 1997 to Stephen Mark Story & Elizabeth Zachary, doting big brother to Elijah Nathaniel Story (10) and Logan Elizabeth Story (2), joined his heavenly father Saturday, November 13, 2010.

While Zachary's time on earth came to an unexpected and tragic end, we come to celebrate his life.

As a Christian, Zachary had a servant's heart. In his brother's words, "He was one of a kind; the complete package". He would never admit it, humble and shy beyond wordshe would never consider himself a role model, but that's how he is described by his peers. As a straight "A" student-athlete, Zachary prided himself at working hard on and off the field. His competitive nature pushed him to excel at everything he put his mind to. His compassion for others was amazing and whether it was caring for his younger siblings, a fellow classmate, or a stray cat or dog, Zachary always put others needs before his own.

Zachary is also survived by his paternal grandmother Penny Story, maternal grandfather Mitchell Zachary, maternal grandmother Carol Stryhal and her husband Joseph and many other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options. A memorial service to celebrate Zachary's life will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4000 Midway Rd., Carrollton, Texas 75007.

Memorial remembrances may be made in Zachary's name to Prince of Peace Lutheran Christian School for the Zachary Story Academic Scholarship Fund.
