Barbara Jeanette Rice Ruckart

In loving memory of Barbara J. Rice-Ruckart who passed away on August 7th, 2009. She was born in Mt. Upton, New York on August 11, 1928. She is preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Ralph Wackford, husband, Lawrence Rice, and Sister Betty Winner.
She is survived by husband James Ruckart, her children, Steven Rice (Bette), Deborah Johnson (Mark), Michael Rice, Jeffrey Rice, Denisse Andrews (David). Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was raised and lived in the Oxford, NY area. She also lived in the Lancaster, PA area for approximately seven years and in the late 1980's relocated to Dallas/Ft Worth. She enjoyed golf, bowling, crafts, sewing and was an avid reader.

The family will receive friends on August 14th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, TX 75023. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m.
