Misty Martin

Misty Martin was born on January 2, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to parents Carl Dwight York and Pamula Arlene Couch York. She was the first grandchild born on both sides of the family and was loved by her family as much as she loved them. She was a stay at home mom and had two boys she loved unconditionally. Misty also had a special bond with her niece Kaitlyn. Her personality was contagious mostly because she laughed often and was always happy and in a good mood. Misty was a spunky person who would always speak her mind regardless of who was around or what the topic was about. She was dynamite in a small package and some even would describe her as a "rebel without a cause". Friends were important to Misty and she enjoyed every minute spent with them. She liked to ride Harleys and collecting all kinds of memorabilia from Harley. Although she was with us only a short time, her life was lived to the fullest. Misty passed suddenly from this life on October 6, 2009. She will be missed SO much by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her step-father J.D. Webster and is survived by her parents, children Chris York and Justin Martin, siblings Dean York, LaDeana Covert, Bryan York, Clint York and Weston York, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2009 and funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Northbrook Room at Plano Center, 2000 E. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, Texas 75074.
