Michael Todd Fuqua

Michael Todd Fuqua entered the world on November 13, 1972 in Dallas, Texas and departed this earth unexpectedly and far too soon on September 3, 2009.

Michael had an enormous heart and outgoing personality that allowed him to make friends easily and his spontaneous manner and instinctive ability to relate to people always placed him at the center of the action. Whether going out with friends, planning a party or just being the "cool" uncle to his adoring nieces and nephews, he loved life and lived it to the fullest. Among other things he also loved music, dancing, movies, his iPhone and all hi-tech gadgets.

Michael was a loving, caring and compassionate soul who had a unique gift in that he could console, encourage, and make someone feel better just by being around him. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. His mischievous smile, love of life and generous heart will be his legacy left behind for those who will deeply miss him.

He utilized his people skills to build a successful career in leasing, marketing and management in the multi-family residential industry and was employed by CNC Investments at Cambridge Village Apartments in Lewisville, Texas.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Viola and Laverne Mosely (Grandma & Grandpa) and his paternal grandparents Jack and Annabel Fuqua (Mom & Pop). He is survived by his parents Gary and Charlotte Fuqua, brother John Fuqua and his wife Brandy, sister Heather Fuqua, and his nieces and nephews Amanda, Jonathon, Mackenzie, and Mason. Michael's story would not be complete without mentioning his many, many friends and the impact they had on his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 3:00PM at Parkway Hills Baptist Church, 2700 Dallas Parkway, Plano, TX, 75093.
