Doris Ann Derouen

Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and longtime Texarkana area resident, Doris Ann DeRouen died unexpectedly Sunday morning, November 7th at age 63 during her sleep at Centennial Hospital ICU in Frisco, Texas.

She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1947 to proud parents Joe Barnes and Lela Priddy, she later moved to Texas for further adventure. Doris, or Mom to most of us, never met a stranger she didnt treat like a longtime friend. Her interesting stories and vitality for life was seen and enjoyed by all.

With the recent call to help out in Heaven and even though her death was unexpected, we are blessed to have the memories of her to share with others.

Doris is survived by children, Mary Anne Browne (Rick), April Marie Byrd, Denise Jo Moore, Thomas Joe Ferguson, Sr. (Pamela), grandchildren, William Troy Robinson, Sarah Suzane Robinson, Jordan Keith Burks, Karen Renee Berry, Brianna Nichole Moore, Joseph Thomas Ferguson, Thomas Joe Ferguson, Jr., Kayla-Star Brooke Burks, Kamryn Lynn Jo Hatch, great grandson, William Michael Robinson and brothers, James Ray Barnes and Billy Joe Barnes.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at 12:00 Noon at the Allen Family Funeral Options.
