Anna E. Dawson was born on September 1, 1917 to Stanley and Kazmyra Buzis in Shenandoah, PA. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on August 4, 2010. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George Dawson, in 1980.
She leaves a legacy of three children: Daniel, James and Marguerite; and 6 grandchildren: Kathleen Stone, Jennifer Dawson, Elizabeth Dawson, James Dawson, Daniel Dawson and Michael Dawson. Her legacy continues with 9 great grandchildren: Jeffrey & Michael Stone, Tyler & Kayla Dawson, Aiden & Isabella Dawson, Amelia & Lila Dawson and Emma Smith.
She is survived by her elder sister Blanche Stranko and her younger sister Helen Martin.
She will be remembered by family and friends as a woman of strength and purpose.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 6th at Allen Family Funeral Options from 6 to 9 P.M. A memorial service and interment will take place at Old St. George's Cemetery in Shenandoah, PA.
