Madeline (Daly) Marcio

Madeline (Daly) Marcio was born January 23, 1928 in Yonkers, New York, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Mahoney) Daly. She died peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017 in McKinney, Texas after a long illness. She was 89. Madeline attended Gordon High School in Yonkers. She married the love of her life Casimir Marcio on October 2, 1954 in Yonkers and was a devoted homemaker. She loved shopping with her sisters, volunteering at her daughter's school, dancing, singing, watching John Wayne movies and spending time with her grandchildren. She always put her husband, daughter, grandchildren and the rest of her family first in her life. Daly is survived by her husband Casimir, her daughter Kathleen Arena and her granddaughters Lindsey Coffey and Kristin Welsh, sisters Anna Fitzpatrick, Eileen Fitzpatrick, Patricia Maniscalco, Sharon O'Sullivan, Theresa Potochak and her brother Michael Daly. In addition to her parents, her two sisters Rita Stone and Margaret Marcio preceded her in death. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas, 75023, Father Martin Mwangi, Celebrant. The family will receive friends at a visitation for one hour prior to the Mass. A reception will immediately follow the Mass. Daly will be laid to rest at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org.
