Jennie Spadaro

Jennie Spadaro was born June 19, 1927 in New York, New York to parents Domenick and Philomena Catalano. She went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2017. After spending her life in Long Island, New York, she and her husband of 65 years moved to Plano, Texas in 2015 to be near their daughter. She will be remembered for her gentle, loving spirit, generosity and the love of her family. Jennie is survived by her beloved husband Alexander Spadaro, devoted mother to Dr. Anthony Spadaro and his wife Jody, Donna Donoghue and her husband Martin. A loving grandmother to Brian Donoghue and his wife Courtney, Jennifer Donoghue, Shannon Younger and her husband Stewart, Joseph Spadaro and his wife Karen, Cara Spadaro and Christian Spadaro. And one great-grandmother to Jack Younger. Best friend and loving sister to Lucy Gregorio. Also by many adoring nieces and nephews. Jennie was preceded in death by her siblings Angelo Catalano, Domenick Catalano, Mary Luongo and Gloria Sirota. A mass of the resurrection will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas. There will be a reception to follow the service in the parish hall. Jennie will be laid to rest at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
