Robert Rex Causer

Robert Rex Causer, age 74 of Plano Texas, formerly of Fredericksburg Virginia, died peacefully
At his home on Friday, March 3, 2017.
Bob was a retired funeral director, having worked many years for Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg. Bob and his wife Cathy moved to Plano, Tx after retiring, and both became active members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he held a position of past Grand Knight and Trustee for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council #7850 and was currently the Faithful Navigator for Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly #3004. Bob loved his church and the Knights of Columbus, and was proud of the positions he held with them.
Bob was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Cathy of 31 years. Daughter, Jennifer Fleischauer and her husband Bobby of Ruther Glen, VA; three sons, Mark Causer and wife Anna, of Queens Creek, Az; James Causer, Robert Causer, Jr. and his wife Ginny of Lubbock, Tx; stepson Christopher Yarter and his wife Kristi of Chehalis, WA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
There will be a Vigil Service at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Plano, Tx, Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 and a Memorial Mass, Friday March 10, 2017 at 10:30 am.
Reception to follow
A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant Funeral Service at a later date.
