Susan Cathryn Jimenez

Susan Cathryn Jimenez was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 19, 1957 to parents Bob and Sue Edwards. She passed away March 2, 2017 at her home in Plano, Texas, surround by her family. Cathryn moved to Texas with her family in 1973 and was a graduated Richardson High School in 1975. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She worked for Barbizon School of Modeling and Executive Secretarial School, both located in Dallas, Texas. Cathryn was always interested in helping people and living her life to the fullest. She organized the Catholic Daughters of the Americas at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, in Plano, Texas and served as the court's first Regent winning many awards in its first year. Cathryn is survived by her Husband Ruben Jimenez, Father Bob Edwards, Brother Todd Edwards, Sister Cindy Oertle, and her 4 Daughters Camber, Cristin, Electra and Victoria and her 5 step-children Eddie, Louie, Marisa, Sara and Laura and 3 Grandchildren Kirstin, Taylor and Gunner along with a host of friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her Mother Sue Edwards. A memorial mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75093. Cathryn will be laid to rest at the Prince of Peace Columbarium. A reception will follow the service in the parish hall.
