In Loving Memory of Catherine Ward who passed away on February 17th, 2017 after a 13 month battle with brain cancer. Catherine was born on March 29th, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She met her husband, Steve, in 1987 and they were married the following year. Together they had five children: Alexandra (29), Isabelle (25), Andrew (23), Christian (20), and Ethan (20). Catherine is survived by her husband, five children, and her three loving dogs: Sophie, Pippa, and Cosette. She moved with her family to Rochester, New York in 2001 where they lived for 15 years. In Rochester, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Performing Arts from Nazareth College, graduating with high honors. Along with her family, she poured her enormous spirit into volunteer work at various homeless shelters and youth programs throughout Rochester. She also served in relief efforts in Jacmel, Haiti. More than just an unceasingly compassionate mother and wife, she was a friend, actress, philanthropist and a reflector of Jesus's love for those around her. She will be remembered for her astounding love, bravery, goofy sense of humor, and heart for others. A funeral service for Catherine will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 22nd, at Shoreline Church, 10715 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas and a celebration of her life will be held on at 2pm on Friday, February 24th, at City Grill in Rochester, New York.
