Brian Lee Harkness

Brian Lee Harkness, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, in Plano, Texas, where he resided since 1983. He was born on May 30, 1974 in Redlands, California to Michael Beth and William Allen Harkness. He attended Christie Elementary, Carpenter Middle School and Clark High School where he met many, many friends who loved him dearly. Brian enjoyed playing guitar and recording music. He traveled to Hong Kong and the Philippines where he made and had many wonderful experiences. Brian was head of security at the Medical Center of Plano for the past 5 years. He is survived by his father William Allen Harkness (Tammy); mother Michael Beth Clinton; siblings Scott Harkness (Alicia), Jennifer Smith (Rick) and Kellie Duckworth (Chad); nieces and nephews Courtnei Bannon, Mackenzie Litton, Jordan Simms, Julian Harkness, Joshua Harkness, Dylan Chandler, Hannah Harkness, Tristan Duckworth, Jason Harkness, Annebelle Harkness and Levi Duckworth; maternal grandfather Kenneth Barclay and many loving friends. Brian is preceded in death by his step-father Bill Clinton. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Allen Family Funeral Options, 2120 West Spring Creek Parkway Suite "E", Plano, Texas 75023. Brian was a kind soul and will forever be loved and missed by all.
