Rebecca Lane

Beloved mother, friend, sister and daughter, Rebecca Lee Lane, was born on December 21, 1930 and entered Heaven's gate on December 23, 2016. Rebecca Lee, a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a devout member of Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York, devoted her life to helping others in need. Without apprehension and regardless of the situation, she made sure the needs of many children and adolescents in her community were met. She unselfishly provided care and nurture to her family and loved ones, and was often regarded as mother by many in her neighborhood. Rebecca Lee also had a gift of music. She loved playing the piano and often shared her warm melody throughout her community. Her friendly nature and kind spirit made her loved by all who knew her. Rebecca is survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many family and friends. The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Oaks Cemetery, 1230 Kingston Drive in Lewisville, Texas.
