Richard J Hayes

Richard also known as " Dick" was born in St Louis where he attended Chaminade Prep School and then St Louis University where he earned a BS degree in business. Dick served in the Korean war and was a proud veteran. He married Carol Regina Angermueller also of St Louis, had children and moved his family to Texas in 1964 where he remained.

Dick was a loving family man and loyal friend and colleague. He worked most of his life in the lawn & garden sales industry where he was well known and respected. He was known for his dedication and his humor and story-telling, Dick was a devout Catholic. He loved the horse races, Las Vegas and traveling. He was a great friend and will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to know him.

He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Carol R Hayes, sons, Richard Jr, Dan, Patrick and Michael Hayes; daughters, Carol Hayes and Kate Moreno, grandchildren, Dylan Hayes, Rebecka Hayes, Thomas Moreno, Stephan Moreno, Allison Hayes, Leah Hayes and great grandson Jack Hayes.
