Carol Smith

Carol Ann Self was born on November 6th 1948 in Dumas, Texas. After Graduating High School she moved to Clovis, New Mexico where she met her husband Danny Owen Smith. They wed on December 21st, 1969 and began a life time of adventure together. Dan and Carol have lived the past 31 years in Allen, Texas where they raised their three children, Danny, James, and Tamyna.
Believing that education is important, Carol put herself through college earning her degree. Going to school made her social and earned her a reputation as being a sweet lady that was easy to talk to. One of her passions was a love for dogs. She was always willing to adopt an abused animal and show it the love of a true guardian angel. Carol also enjoyed gardening and loved to work out in the yard with her roses. Her enthusiasm in the Kitchen was something she always enjoyed sharing with her grandchildren, especially with her grandchildren Erich, Bronwyn and Brianna.
Carol Ann Smith Died on October 18th, 2016 at 11:49 am and will be missed but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Allen Family Funeral Options on Friday October 21, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. A Private graveside service will be Monday at DFW National Cemetery at 10:15 am. 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy. Dallas, Texas 75211
