John Ray Grissom

John Ray Grissom, 69, passed away at his home on Monday, September 19, 2016. Born February 10, 1947, in Carthage, Misouri, to Ned A. and June Grissom, John came of age in Oklahoma City, where he worked in his father's dry cleaning business and attended Central State University. In his legendary and lengthy career, John bought and sold for brands as diverse and iconic as TG&Y and Harley-Davidson. He was known among his customers, friends and family for his boundless generosity and hospitality, and his sense of humor. John is survived by his wife, Linda; his stepdaughters, Missy and Ami; his daughter, Jennifer; his son, Jason; and his cat, Kitty Boy. Those who knew him know he loved spending time with friends and family. A party celebrating his life will be held at The End Zone Bar and Grill (3033 W Parker Rd, # 109 Plano, TX 75023) at 2 p.m. on October 15, 2016. The celebration will run into the evening (children are welcome until 10 p.m.), so please come and go as you please. Just be ready to share some stories, because we all have some good ones.
