Bitti Martin Young
April 16, 1946 - September 22, 2016

Bitti Martin Young was born on April 16, 1946, to parents Lt. Commander J.M. (Mac) Martin and Ruth Corbin Martin, on the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Most of her childhood and adult life was spent in Dallas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, earned a degree in marketing from North Texas State University in Denton and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Her home was in Plano where she raised her children and, later, worked as an administrative coordinator at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals for 13 years until retirement. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Young; son, Dagan Young and wife, Gina, of Bulverde, Texas; daughter, Dayna Boor and husband, Daniel, of Garland, Texas; grandchildren: Landrey and Ethan Young and Aiden and Logan Boor; she was predeceased by granddaughter Madison Tyler Boor. Bitti is also survived by her sister, Linda Strevell; cousin, Jacque Prager; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and pets.
Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with grandchildren. She had an abiding faith and accepted the grace of God as the bedrock of her life.
There will be a visitation September 29,2016 at 10:00 AM, Plano Bible Chapel followed by a service to honor Bitti on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Plano Bible Chapel, 1900 Shiloh Road, Plano Texas and a burial on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:30 PM , Lakeview Cemetery, Winters Tx.
