Mary Bufford Roberts

Mary Bufford Roberts was born on November 7, 1954 to parents Mary Ann Mullen and Johnny Jackson Bufford in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was a wonderful loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She was happily married for 30 years to David Roberts, who passed away in 2009. She left behind her daughter, Michelle Roberts (Carmelo Rivera) and Jim Kickbush, Jr. Mary was a well-respected nurse for 20 years and had a loving, caring heart for her patients. She was also the first one the family called with a medical issue. Mary enjoyed music, cooking, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. She is also survived by her father, Johnny Bufford; sisters, Ann Hathaway and Susan Maleskey (Rick) and brother, John Bufford (Kathy). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Mike Maleskey, Nick Maleskey, Jim Kickbush, Jr., Jack Bufford, Janna Bufford and her furry friends Kitty and Charlie. Mary will also be missed by all of the caring friends and people who loved her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mullen Bufford; husband, David Roberts; sister, Patricia Ann Kickbush and brother in law Paul Hathaway. She impacted so many lives and touched so many hearts with her loving, caring and giving ways. There will be a gathering of Family and Friends from Noon - 2:00pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Allen Family Funeral Options, 2120 W. Spring Creek Parkway Plano, Texas 75023. A Words of Remembrance service will be held at 1:00pm.
