Mary Marie Woods

Mary Marie Woods was born August 8, 1952 in Cameron, Texas. She passed away July 7, 2016 in Plano, Texas at age 63. Mary grew up and attended high school in Brownwood, Texas where she met and married Robert L. Woods before moving to Plano, Texas. Mary remained a resident of Plano for more than 40 years. She was a valued employee of both the Plano and Allen Independent School districts for more than 20 years. Her occupation allowed her to interact and impact all those who crossed her path.

From Her Children:
Fierce, Strong, Dedicated, Fiery, Funny, Witty, and Kind, are just a few of the words that define our mother. She never met a child that she did not love. She enjoyed being in the presence of the young because her sprit was filled with the same kind of unconditional joy.

She loved Action movies, cheese burgers, and grapes! Mom enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; being with her family, cooking a good meal and sharing her many recipes.

She is survived by her daughter Kiwana Denise Woods, Son & daughter in-law, Robert and Wendy Woods, sister Lamonia Snodgrass and many nieces, nephews and beloved family members.

Mostly she will be remembered as a loving mother and friend who received incredible joy in life from helping others; she was blessed with an incredible intuition for the needs of those she loved.

An Evening of Remembrance will be held on Thursday July 14, 2016 from 6:30pm to 8:30 with words of remembrance at 7:30pm at:
