Born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 2, 1958. Died June 7, 2016 in Plano, Texas at age 58. He was a commercial airline pilot, a land developer, and an award-winning luxury custom homebuilder for over 30 years. A graduate of New Mexico Military Institute and Colorado State University, he grew up in Roswell, New Mexico and Richardson, Texas. He also lived in Estes Park, Colorado, and London, England. A world traveler, expert snow skier/boarder, rock climber, golfer, sailor, and guitarist, he was avid fisherman who built his own custom rods, as well.
He leaves to celebrate his life a doting wife, Sharon Marsh-Wyly, his beloved daughters and their husbands Shannon Carlson (Rick) and Stacy Wyly (Jahvin Carlough), their mother and dear friend Janice Wyly, their grandmother Ernie Shelton, his granddaughter, Annika Carlson, parents Margorie and Victor, Jr., siblings Leslie Reeves (Tim), and Roger Wyly (Vicki), stepson Sloane Marsh, nieces Malia Reeves, Krista Reeves and Taylor Wyly, nephew Dylan Wyly, special friend-of-the-family Helen Butler, his much-loved dog PJ, and a worldwide family of in-laws, cousins, friends, colleagues and neighbors.
On Tuesday, June 14, 2016 a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00pm, with an open house to follow, at 8501 Bradford Drive, Plano, Texas 75025.
