Martha Ann (Cantrell) Hensley was born in Houston Texas to parents Edward (Edd) and Eula Belle (Ivey) Cantrell. She died Saturday, May 14, 2016 after an extended battle with cancer. She grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma, graduated from Maysville High School and Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was in St. Louis, Missouri for a nursing rotation where she met and later married Bill David. They lived in Ferguson, Missouri for 22 years and then moved to Allen, Texas where she lived with her family for the duration of her life. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Hensley and Two Daughters, Karen (Patrick) Kitzman and Kelly (B.J.) Willis. She was also grandmother to Nicholas, Zoey and Brandon Kitzman, Zachary and Lyndsay Willis. She has one sister, Nancy Gray and Brother in law, John Gray and nephew and niece Stephen and Ruth Anna. She also leaves behind many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and dear friends. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Allen, 201 E McDermott Dr, Allen, Texas, 75002. The celebration of Martha's life will also be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Martha will be laid to rest at Allen City Cemetery following the service.
