Wendi Annette Jones, 51, of Frisco, Texas was born on September 13, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents James Curtis Lyons and Velva Annette Hines. She passed away on April 29, 2016 in Frisco, Texas. A Mother's Legacy

Amazing,
The sweetest,
Super awesome,
Wonderful,
A nice lady
She was a privilege to know.

She was
Welcoming
Incredibly kind
Amazingly generous
Fearless (even with a sling on),
A strong Christian Woman.

She had a
Beautiful
Kind-hearted spirit,
Intellectual soul,
Willingness to serve and a
Faith that radiates in each one of her children

She was
A true spiritual giant,
Such a prayer warrior,
Always sincere and caring,
Always encouraging
Always smiling big and loving big
A joy to be with
She was a woman of God

She
Loved God,
And her family, always
Proud of her children.

She was
My biggest supporter,
My confidant,
My cohort in crime as kids,
My dear and best friend,
More than just a cousin
She was my sister in Christ.
Distance was not a separator for us
She was a spark that kept me going.







She
Made me laugh,
Helped me when life got hard,
Followed the Lord all of her days,
Had so much "Jesus" character.

She was
A beam of light
So special to so many,
Always pointing everyone to Jesus,
And so loved by those who knew her.
She was inspiring,
Beautiful, inside and out,
Full of boundless love, energy, and Christian witness, and
Impacted every person she met in a positive way

She was the
Truest, faithful and devoted Christian I knew
A model for each of us and
Someone to look up to as she
Brought people to the feet of Jesus and
Made her faith clear to everyone she came in contact with.

She is
Irreplaceable.

But forevermore she is
With Jesus in Heaven.



Wendi is survived by her husband Kevin Jones; children Joel Adam Jones (Katelin Oma), Hannah Elizabeth Jones, Bethany Hope Jones and Mary Faith Jones; grandchild Hailey Annette Jones; mother Annette "Granette" Lyons; brother Jay Lyons; nephew Blaine Lyons and niece Cami Lyons. Wendi is preceded in death by her father Jim Lyons and daughter Annette Marie Jones.
There will be a visitation at Allen Family Funeral Options from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Prestonwood Baptist Church - North, 1001 W. Prosper Trail, Prosper, Texas 75078. Burial will be at 11:00am on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Forest Park Cemetery West, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport, Louisiana.
