Robert William Twiss

Robert William Twiss, 42, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Robert was born on May 19, 1973 in Dallas, Texas. He was a former member of the United States Army. He also worked as a semi truck driver. He enjoyed traveling the country, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a founding member and administrator of the DFW Underground Church. He also helped establish a church in Midland, Texas called The Seed.

He is survived by his children, Shelbie Gaye Twiss, Starla Gayle Twiss, Carissa Grace Twiss, EmaLee Blackwood, grandchildren Serenity Kayann Rettig, Camden Wayne Rettig, his mother Gaye Twiss, his brother and wife Michael and Terrie Twiss, his sister and husband Lisa and Steve Doerr and daughter Meisha. Also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Patrick Michael Twiss, sister Teresa Rene Brooks, grandparents Warren and Adelaide Twiss, and grandparents Bill and Gertrude Doherty.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th from 11:00am-12:00pm at Allen Family Funeral Options, 2120 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023. The Funeral Service will begin at Noon, also at Allen family Funeral Options. A Graveside Service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 2343 Lake Road, Lavon, Texas.
