Rosemary Gaines, aged 85 years, died February 19, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Rosemary was born March 15, 1930 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, the daughter of Michael and Ida Antonucci (nee. St. Ambrosio). She graduated from Bloomfield High in Bloomfield, New Jersey in 1947. Rosemary was a resident of Country Place, Plano, Texas since 1975 and served on the HOA board for many years. She was a Realtor for 30 years for Realty World and Re/Max Plano. Family and friends were Rosemary's passion and delight and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed the theatre, cooking, painting, her family reunions, trips to Winstar, her pets and hosting parties. She is survived by 5 children, Patricia and Carl Stewart, Frank Gaines Jr., Maryangela Caprio, Susan and Charles Kelly and Joanne Antovoni, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister Irene Malinowski and brother Donald Mustachio, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Joseph Gaines and her brother William Antonucci. A prayer vigil to honor her life will be held Wednesday February 24, 2016 at 7:00 pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, Texas. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25, 2016 11:00 am also at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in her name to Operation Kindness, www.operationkindness.org and Sky Kids Team, www.skykidsAZ.org.
