Mary Kathryn Lloyd(Morris)

Mary Kathryn Lloyd (Morris), 66, born and raised in Dallas, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 after an eighteen-month battle with cancer. A beloved daughter, sister, friend, aunt, mother and grandmother, Kathy cherished her family above all else. Kathy was a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she studied dance. Kathy was full of life and full of ideas. She was a tireless entrepreneur who at one point ran Rue De Revs, a high-end Dallas women's clothing store, with her mother. A true dreamer at heart, Kathy loved hearing about the success of loved ones and always encouraged them to reach for the stars. Other than watching the Dallas Cowboys with her father and late brother Eddy, holidays were her favorite. She enjoyed nothing more than to wear pajamas on Christmas morning and watch her children and grandchildren open presents.
Kathy is survived by her parents Margaret and Edwin Morris, daughters Jennifer Pollono (John) and Kelsey Lloyd, grandchildren Sophie Pollono and Jack Pollono, sister Susan Pence (Ron), sister-in-law Tammie Morris, nieces and nephews Christian Pence, Tony Pence (Amy), Lisa Durr (Ryan), Sarah Rose Morris and Bella Morris as well as many cousins and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother Eddy Morris.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, Texas. The family has requested that attendants wear bright colors in honor of Kathy's love of fashion and in celebration of her life.
