William Michael Gyger

William Michael Gyger, age 55, passed away on January 21, 2016 in his home. Michael was born February 27, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Castleberry High School in 1978 and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1985. Michael appreciated the challenges of working in the evolving telecommunications industry and was an effective Program Manager at many companies around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Michael had a love of traveling and sharing the world with his daughters and he was proud to have taken them to 49 of the 50 United States. When he wasn't planning his next adventure you could find him driving fast cars with the windows down and music turned up. He had a diverse music library and enjoyed many different genres poolside with friends and family on a regular basis. Michael also had a green thumb and appreciated the beauty of nature both at home and on his travels. Michael's favorite place was the beach and he passed this love along to all of his daughters. His witty sense of humor and never ending "Dad" jokes will be missed by many. He is survived by his Father William Franklin Gyger; Daughters Brittany Gyger, Chelsea Gyger, and Shelby Gyger; Brother Tony Seghetti; and many cousins and friends. An afternoon of remembrance is scheduled for Saturday January 30th from 2 to 4pm with words of remembrance at 3pm at Allen Family Funeral Options located at 2120 W. Spring Creek Pkwy in Plano, Texas.
