Sharon Sue Davies, 77, of Dallas, Texas passed away at 11:30am on Saturday January 23, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Frankfort, Indiana on February 18, 1938. A graduate of Mulberry High School she married David Bruce Davies on July 20, 1956 at Fairhaven Lutheran Church in Mulberry, Indiana. The family moved to Dallas, Texas in 1963.
In 1977, Sharon and family had the wonderful opportunity to move to Antibes, France. During that time Sharon enjoyed traveling extensively throughout Europe with her family.
After returning to Texas in 1979 she earned her accounting degree from Richland College. Sharon then began her career in the mortgage industry, where she was a valued and tenured employee of Preston State Bank in Dallas.
A highlight in Sharon's life was the birth of her grand-daughter, Andrea Lynn Davies, on March 6, 2006. Watching Andrea grow up always brought a smile and warmed Sharon's heart. Sharon also had a special place in her heart for the "grand-dogs" and loved to spoil them.
Sharon spent her free time reading, doing needle work, painting and enjoying the company of her family. She enjoyed her summer vacations in Indiana, catching up with family and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. Fisher and Betty J. Fisher, brother Danny J. Fisher and sister Patricia J. Richey of Lafayette, Indiana.
Survivors include her children, daughter Kim Davies and sons Brian Davies, Mark Davies, and Doug Davies and one granddaughter and grandson and a niece and nephew all of Dallas, Texas and her ex-husband David Bruce Davies of Rockwall, Texas.
In loving memory of a daughter, a sister, a mother, grandmother and friend she will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at Allen Family Funeral Options at 4:00pm on Friday, January 29, 2016. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
