Tom Wilkins

Hubert Thomas "Tom" Wilkins, III, was born, in Lubbock, Texas, on February 10, 1948 to parents Hubert Thomas "H.T." Wilkins and Patty Jean Smith. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1971. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. His career in insurance spanned 44 years. Tom is survived by his wife Marie Wieberg Wilkins and two sons, T. and Brandt Wilkins. His boys, his dogs, and of course his wife were the "Loves of his Life!" He grew up loving Possum Kingdom Lake. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. Tom was an accomplished pilot with over 5,000 hours.
Tom is predeceased by his parents, his brother Tony Wilkins and sister-in-law Cindy and their daughter Erin.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Andrews Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society at www.lls.org.
