Anne Maureen Andruczk

April 24, 1940 — January 15, 2016

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne in Northumberland, England to Arthur and Jenny Hadaway, Anne enjoyed her long walks on the beach of the North Shore. At age 11, her family came to the United States of America. Eventually, settling in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where she attended New Trier High School. Anne was a first generation college student and attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois where she met her husband of 27 years, Robert Andruczk. Upon graduation they married, he joined the United States Air Force and based on his commissions they were stationed in San Antonio where their two daughters were born, then back to her home country of England, next Virginia and then settling in Wichita Falls, Texas where she resided until moving to Plano, Texas to be closer to her family. With each move, she made and nurtured many friendships. While in Wichita Falls, she sang in the choir at First Presbyterian Church, she was a small business owner with a successful ceramic shop, she received a Master's Degree from Midwestern State University and surrounded herself with close friends and avid fans while watching the Dallas Cowboy football games. Anne was a loyal friend, supportive wife and good mother. She was creative, mischievous, a good cook and entertainer, a proud mother and Nana to her grandsons with a contagious laugh who touched many lives.

She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Johnson and Sheryl Vukasin; son-in-law Marshall Johnson; and grandchildren Ryan, Kyle and Travis Johnson.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road Plano, Texas 75023.
