Daniel Jackson Keels

September 24, 1975 — December 8, 2015

Daniel Jackson Keels was born in Plano, Texas to Iris and Dan Keels on September 24, 1975. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1994 and then graduated from University Technical Institute with an Associates degree in HVAC. He became a licensed HVAC contractor and worked at Dell as a Senior Facility Management Advisor.

Daniel was gentle, caring and a friend to everyone. He loved cars and enjoyed working on anything mechanical. Regardless of the situation, Daniel was always level headed and helped others stay calm as well. He was someone you could always depend on from putting in a new light fixture to fixing your air conditioner in the middle of the summer. He had an amazing smile and rosy cheeks that would brighten every room he entered. Throughout his life he enjoyed mountain bike riding, hiking, classic cars, watching movies, riding his motorcycle, going to the Stars hockey games and time with family.

Daniel was incredibly intelligent, a great man, wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved his family more than anything. Daniel adored his son, Cooper, and showered him with love and attention. He will be missed by his wife Kristi; son Cooper; mother Iris Reed; father Dan Keels (Molly); sister Rebecca Osborne (Gary); nephews Gavin and Garrett Osborne; sister in law Lisa De los Santos (Rudy); paternal grandmother Evileen Keels; maternal grandmother Phyllis Griffith and many, many friends.

A memorial service to honor Daniel's life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 4:00 pm in Building 201, Chase Oaks Church, 201 Legacy Dr., Plano, Texas.
