Sharon Franer Love

Sharon Davoody Love, of Allen, Texas, passed away on Wednesday December 2, 2015, with her son, daughter, and brother present. Sharon was born in Dayton, Ohio to David Franer and Patricia Reid. Sharon graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and from the University of North Texas (NTSU) with a master's degree in Business Administration in BCIS. After graduating with honors distinction, she worked as a Computer Programmer and Business Analyst with several prestigious institutions such as the Southern Baptist Convention, JC Penny Corporate Headquarters, and Texas Instruments (TI). Sharon married her first husband, Harry, and had two children, Abraham and Sarah, in Plano, Texas. Sharon was a happy-go-lucky person with a cheerful demeanor and an easy laugh. She had a beautiful heart of gold, who advocated for the needy and the disabled. She loved to sew, collect hats, take photographs, partake in church choir and theater activities, as well as bake her famous, delicious homemade holiday fudge! She adored going to rock n roll concerts, filming family videos, creating scrapbooks, and commemorating family photo albums. In addition, Sharon loved animals, owning several pets throughout her life including adopting an orphan toy poodle puppy, Precious, and tabby cat, Missy. Sharon received excellent care while battling stage 5 Kidney Disease and Diabetes, and the doctors and nurses who cared for her often commented that she was their favorite patient who wore bright colors, made them laugh, and exuded a bright smile. She was known for her bubbly voice, loving personality, uplifting sense of humor, and inspiring graciousness a precious and rare treasure. Sharon is survived by her son and daughter, Abraham and Sarah Davoody; her mother and father Patricia Reid and David Franer; her sister and brother, Karen Brennan and Allen Franer; and her beloved Morkie dog, Teddy Bear Love and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Paula. A funeral service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Rd., Plano, Texas, officiated by Pastor Robert Matthews. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends for a visitation from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Sharon will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas following the service. To honor Sharon's cheerful disposition, her children have requested that all attendees please consider wearing bright colors.
